The Minister of Health, Mr. Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel, honored the CEO of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites, Eng. Saleh bin Ibrahim Al-Rasheed, and the CEO of Kidana Development Company, Eng. Mohammed bin Nasser Al-Majmaj, along with the team supervising the implementation of the new Emergency Hospital project in Mina. This recognition comes in appreciation of the outstanding efforts in constructing and operating the hospital within a record time of no more than 30 days.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is considered one of the fastest-built hospitals in the world. It is the result of a strategic partnership between Kidana \u2014 the main developer of the holy sites \u2014 and the private sector, aimed at enhancing the readiness of the healthcare system and improving the quality of services provided to pilgrims during the 1446H Hajj season. The project aligns with the goals of the \u201cGuests of God Service Program\u201d and the \u201cHealthcare Sector Transformation Program\u201d under Saudi Vision 2030.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hospital has a capacity of 200 beds and spans an area of over 5,300 square meters. It includes emergency and inpatient departments, specialized units for treating heatstroke and heat exhaustion, as well as radiology, laboratory, clinics, minor surgeries, isolation, intensive care, and support facilities for medical staff.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strategically located at the emergency landing zone in Mina, the hospital is directly connected to King Abdulaziz Road via a bridge and modern elevators, facilitating rapid response and efficient transfer of critical cases. This achievement reflects the healthcare system\u2019s commitment to developing the infrastructure of medical care in the holy sites and creating an integrated health environment that enables pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and safety.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
