As part of the early preparations for the Hajj season of 1445 AH

Kidana Development and Improvement Company, the executive arm of the Royal Commission for the City of Makkah and the Holy Sites, has implemented over 20 developmental projects in the holy sites, aimed at providing a comfortable and reassuring experience for pilgrims.
The company announced that this year’s Hajj will feature the launch of the Enhanced Holy Sites Path project, which includes rubberized walkways that reduce surface temperatures, facilitating pilgrims’ movement. The project also incorporates green areas and commercial kiosks to create a pleasant atmosphere, focusing on the Al-Mash’ar Al-Haram Mosque area to provide additional comfort for pilgrims during their stay in Muzdalifah.
Additionally, the company has undertaken a project to increase the capacity of the holy sites by preparing and upgrading areas spanning 170,000 square meters. Furthermore, the Humanization of Drop-Off Stations project in Muzdalifah was introduced to enhance the pilgrims’ experience during transportation and rest.
Kidana highlighted its completion of several infrastructure development projects, including upgrades to the electrical capacity, improvements to cooling systems, and enhancements to water networks and sanitary facilities. A total of 8,000 double-story restroom units were constructed across 123 complexes, equipped with state-of-the-art technologies to ensure maximum comfort.
The company also announced the completion of the Kidana Valley project, developed in partnership with the private sector over an area of 165,000 square meters. This project features architectural designs inspired by the spirituality of the holy sites, offering comprehensive services and spaces designed to provide the highest levels of comfort and quality for pilgrims.with several officials from various sectors
