A Quick Brief
It is an initiative launched by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia within the initiatives of the Quality of Life Program related to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to preserve and improve the environment, to ensure the future of current and future generations.
This initiative will draw the direction of the Kingdom in the inevitability of land and nature and put it in a road map with clear and ambitious landmarks and will contribute strongly to achieving global goals
The Saudi Green Initiative will provide huge investment opportunities for the private sector, quality job opportunities for the next generation of leaders in the Kingdom, and enhanced international relationships that will positively impact the region and the world.

The Initiative's Main Goals
The Environment Needs Us and So Do We
Voluntary work hours for the girls and sons of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region who love the environment and protect nature, will result in a contribution to maintaining the cleanliness of the holy sites, which will entrench in their minds the idea that the environment needs us and we need it.
Cleanliness of the Holy Sites
Volunteers and environmentalists will participate in the campaign to clean the holy sites, where with the cooperation and awareness of the community the environment becomes better.
26 Thousand Trees
In its first phase, the campaign to plant the holy sites will be launched with more than 26,000 trees, which meets the goals of The Saudi Green Initiative launched by the Crown Prince, and confirms that the state is serious about achieving the initiative for its goals in enriching the Saudi natural environment.
Green and Sustainable Environment
Citizen awareness of the importance of the environment and their ability to preserve it, is one of the most successful ways to achieve a green and sustainable environment.
