More than 100 male and female volunteers participate in the “Purify My House” initiative
As part of the preparations to receive the guests of Allah, the Holy Capital Municipality organized the “Purify My House” initiative to clean the site of Muzdalifah, in partnership with Kidana Development Company, the executive arm of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and the Holy Sites, with the participation of more than 100 male and female volunteers from various segments of society.
The Municipality explained that the initiative embodied the values of volunteer work and community cooperation, as participants worked hand in hand to contribute to the implementation of the initiative, raise the level of preparedness, achieve the highest standards of environmental sustainability, and prepare the holy sites for the pilgrims—aligned with the Kingdom’s efforts to provide the best services during the performance of Hajj rituals.
The Municipality affirmed that this initiative is part of a series of activities and programs aimed at promoting a culture of volunteerism, and enhancing values of giving and responsibility, in preparation for the 1446 AH Hajj season.
