The holy sites bid farewell to the pilgrims’ old stalls.

The holy sites are bidding farewell to the old stalls that were used to sell some of the pilgrims’ supplies during this year’s Hajj season, 1446 AH. The main developer company for the holy sites has completed a project to implement modern commercial units as replacements for the previous stalls. More than 60 units have been installed in strategic locations in Mina and Muzdalifah, as part of a development initiative aimed at improving the service and commercial environment in the holy sites.

The new units feature architectural designs inspired by the identity of the holy sites and reflect the spiritual and symbolic nature of the place. They enhance urban integration in areas of religious significance and include modern, multi-use facilities that contribute to improving the experience of the pilgrims during their Hajj journey.

This initiative will help elevate the quality of services, provide a comprehensive environment that meets the needs of the pilgrims, improve operational efficiency, and create sustainable investment opportunities. It also enhances private sector participation in delivering innovative services aimed at enriching the pilgrim’s experience and improving the quality of life in the holy sites.
