As part of efforts to reduce the number of lost pilgrims and organize movement in the Mina area, Kidana, the primary developer of the holy sites and the executive arm of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and the Holy Sites, is working on the “Towards Mina” project. The first phase of the project focuses on studying, evaluating, and designing guidance signage in the holy sites and categorizing roads and streets in Mina into various colors.
The project aims to align with the approved identity of the holy sites, support crowd management during pilgrimage stages, and facilitate road identification for operating entities and field teams. It also seeks to create a visual identity for routes and pathways.
The project involves studying pilgrim pathways during their stay in Mina and categorizing camps into specific groups.
The project focuses on:
- Numbering and naming service zones.
- Naming roads and pathways.
- Facilitating guidance and movement of pilgrims.
