Kidana and the General Directorate of Education in the Makkah Region signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation between the two parties. The agreement aims to support the “Tirwiyah” initiative launched by Kidana to raise awareness among young generations about the holy sites, their development phases, and the historical landmarks they encompass. It also seeks to educate them about the efforts of the state and relevant entities in serving pilgrims during Hajj seasons.
Additionally, the memorandum focuses on collaboration in educational and training programs to enhance educational and professional capacities, and on supporting simulation-based learning through organizing field trips for students to the holy sites. This will contribute to activating the holy sites year-round and introducing future generations to their religious and historical significance.
