Kidana Development and Development Company—the main developer of the Holy Sites—announced the completion of a new emergency hospital in Mina, with a capacity of over 180 beds. The hospital is located adjacent to Mina Emergency Hospital, and aims to enhance medical readiness to serve the pilgrims, in accordance with the highest medical standards. This initiative is part of strengthening and supporting the healthcare system in the Holy Sites during the 1446H Hajj season.
The new hospital is considered one of the vital projects implemented by Kidana within a short period not exceeding 30 days. It was developed to enhance emergency healthcare services during Hajj, in collaboration and coordination with the Ministry of Health. The hospital is strategically located overlooking Al-Rabita Street in Mina and has been connected to King Abdulaziz Road via a modern bridge and electric elevators. These features facilitate easy access and rapid emergency response to and from the hospital.
The facility is equipped with integrated medical units and specialized departments for emergency cases and heat exhaustion, in addition to isolation rooms, resuscitation units, radiology, a medical laboratory, inpatient wards, and dedicated rooms for the medical staff.
The project also contributes to increasing the capacity to receive critical cases and deliver urgent medical care efficiently.
