About
The initiative to activate the Khassarat Ain Zubaida project is part of Kadana Company’s efforts to highlight the historical and ancient sites abundant in the holy places and to ensure their care.
Kadana Development and Investment Company’s vision focuses on “leading in the sustainable development of the holy places,” with a mission to develop and manage facilities and services with high quality, through the best human resources, leadership practices, and effective partnerships. This is achieved by realizing strategic pillars, which include increasing the capacity of the holy sites, improving the pilgrim experience, transforming the holy places into a sustainable destination, and operating and managing assets and services in the holy sites.
Enriching Khassarat Ain Zubaida
The Royal Commission for the City of Mecca and the Holy Sites, in partnership with Kadana Company, executed a historical, cultural, and entertainment event aimed at reviving and highlighting the rich and diverse heritage and Islamic landmarks in the Khassarat Ain Zubaida area. This was done through a comprehensive set of services, facilities, and accompanying activities, using the latest techniques and means to provide an exceptional experience for visitors from around the world, reflecting the depth and richness of Islamic civilization in the area. The event lasted for about 60 days, attracting over 28,000 visitors. The event included a historical exhibition, an open market area, a simulation area, a performance platform, interactive activities, handicrafts and handmade products, a hiking trail, an archery field, and a climbing area.
