The CEO of Kidana: Significant Developments Witnessed in the Holy Sites

Eng. Mohammed bin Nasser Al-Mujamaj, CEO of Kidana Development and Development Company, emphasized that the holy sites have experienced a qualitative leap in service levels since the era of the founding King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud and throughout the prosperous reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Development projects have been undertaken to ensure the comfort and reassurance of pilgrims.

During his speech at the specialized session of the Hajj 2025 Conference, titled “Mina: Providing an Integrated Accommodation Experience for Pilgrims,” Al-Mujamaj highlighted the historical increase in the number of pilgrims and the gradual development of projects in the holy sites.

He pointed out that, historically, pilgrims in Mina relied on individual efforts to set up camps, and organized accommodation began only during the Saudi era. This started with the removal of individual dwellings and the allocation of the site exclusively for pilgrims by distributing camps. Subsequently, fire-resistant tents were introduced, accompanied by the establishment of an integrated infrastructure. This was followed by the construction of Mina slope buildings, and in the previous Hajj season of 1445 AH, the Mina Valley Towers Project was implemented, benefiting pilgrims during the pilgrimage season.

Al-Mujamaj added that Kidana has established operational excellence centers, focusing on modern innovations and trends aimed at improving the services provided in Mina to meet pilgrims’ needs and enhance their experience.

He concluded by stating that Kidana’s current and future efforts aim to provide a comprehensive and sustainable accommodation experience for pilgrims, with a focus on innovation and achieving the highest quality in services offered.
