Leadership in Sustainability of Developing the Holy Sites

Second phase of the development project in Jabal Al-Rahmah area in "Arafat" has led to creation and preparation of green spaces equipped with shaded seating areas and benches around the mountain squares. The project also involved replacing flooring of the squares surrounding the mountain, installing misting poles and water stations, and establishing sales points on the outskirts of Jabal Al-Rahmah squares to serve the area year-round. Establishing high quality infrastructure to raise the level of safety and achieve sustainability Significant progress has been made in constructing the infrastructure system, including establishment of an internal electricity distribution network spanning 1.6 million square meters. This also involved replacement of water networks, enhancement of fire and cooling systems, installation of backup water tanks in Mina, Muzdalifah, and Arafat, development of electrical infrastructure, and creation of a sewage infrastructure network and supply sources to support public facilities.
