Our Key Achievements

Kidana Hill Project
The project represents a qualitative addition to the pilgrims’ accommodation system in Mina by developing a modern housing model for pilgrims aimed at improving the quality of the residential environment for the Guests of Allah, while enhancing the efficient use of space within the holy sites. The project includes 8 modern two-story buildings covering an area of more than 33,000 square meters. During the first phase, 3 buildings were completed and operated at 37% capacity during the last Hajj season of 1446 AH. In the second phase, the project was completed 100% to enable full utilization of the entire project during the Hajj season of 1447 AH.
Project for the Replacement and Renovation of Firefighting and Cooling Networks within the Tent Block Areas in Mina
To enhance operational efficiency, Kadana implemented the fourth phase of the project for the replacement and development of firefighting and cooling networks within the camps in the non-developed tents. The work included the replacement and development of more than 32,000 linear square meters of firefighting and cooling networks inside the camps of Mina.
New Emergency Hospital Project in Mina
"Kidana" carried out the Emergency Hospital project in Mina, which is considered one of the fastest hospital projects ever completed worldwide. It was built in just 30 days on an area of 5,300 m², with a capacity of up to 200 beds. The project reflects Kidana’s efficiency in executing vital development projects within record time, while adhering to construction and operational standards that ensure the hospital’s readiness to serve the Guests of Allah during the Hajj season.
Kidana Al-Wadi 6 Towers Project in Mina
The latest project, Kidana Al-Wadi Towers 6, has marked a significant milestone in improving the living environment for pilgrims in Mina. It embodies Kidana’s vision of providing integrated services that enhance the experience of the Guests of Allah. The project consists of 10 towers spanning an area of 165,000 m², each comprising a ground floor and four repeated floors, in addition to a prayer area, dining area, central kitchen, and open spaces equipped with services.
Project “Kidana Path” in Muzdalifah Sanctuary
Kidana implemented the “Kidana Path” project in Al-Muzdalifah, developing over 240,000 square meters with eco-friendly rubber flooring, green spaces, and resting areas to enhance pilgrims’ comfort. The initiative supports Kidana’s goal of creating a safe, sustainable environment for the Guests of Allah.
Afforestation and Green Coverage Project in the Holy Sites
As part of the Saudi Green Initiative, Kidana implemented the “Green Mashaer” initiative, planting more than 20,000 trees across an area of approximately 290,000 m². The aim is to reduce temperatures and improve air quality in areas where pilgrims gather. The project reflects Kidana’s commitment to environmental sustainability and to creating a more comfortable environment for the Guests of Allah.
The project to beautify (or soften) the eastern courtyards at the Jamarat facility.
Kadana has completed the project of installing 200 mist fans in the eastern courtyards of the Jamarat facility, aiming to cool the atmosphere and reduce temperatures by up to 8°C. This contributes to enhancing the comfort of the pilgrims and alleviating the effects of heat stress.
Project to Develop the Drinking Water System at the Holy Sites
Kadana has completed the project to develop the drinking water system at the Holy Sites by installing 2,400 water dispensers along pedestrian pathways. The aim is to ensure the availability of chilled drinking water for all pilgrims, reduce the risk of dehydration, and enhance the quality of services provided — all contributing to greater comfort and an improved experience during the Hajj season.
Emergency Services and First Aid Centers Project
Kadana has completed the implementation of a network of emergency services and first aid centers along the pathways of the Holy Sites, with support from Roumah Endowments and in coordination with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority. The project aims to provide emergency medical care for pilgrims, reduce response times, improve service quality, and offer supportive transportation means.
Project for Establishing Ambulance Centers at the Holy Sites
Kadana has launched a project to establish 71 ambulance centers distributed along the pedestrian pathways at the Holy Sites. The aim is to reduce emergency response times and enhance the readiness of the emergency and first aid system, thereby improving the efficiency of services provided to the pilgrims.
Purification System Development
Kadana has completed the first phase of developing the purification system in Mina, by replacing 2,116 toilets with 61 modern two-story complexes, comprising more than 5,600 toilets, with the aim of improving service efficiency and enhancing the comfort of pilgrims.
Courtyards of Namira Mosque
Kadana has implemented the shading and cooling project for the courtyards surrounding Namirah Mosque, aiming to improve the climate in the eastern courtyard. The project included planting over 2,000 trees, establishing integrated infrastructure for water and electricity networks, as well as installing 320 canopies and 350 mist fans to create a suitable environment for performing rituals.
Escalator Project
The project to replace concrete staircases in Mina includes the installation of 32 modern escalators, aimed at facilitating the movement of pilgrims between elevated camps and reducing the difficulty of climbing, especially for the elderly and people with disabilities. This project is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the pilgrimage experience and improve service quality.
Emergency Hospital Construction
Kadana completed the new Emergency Hospital in Mina within 30 days, with a capacity exceeding 180 beds. The hospital is strategically located and fully equipped with medical facilities, including emergency, isolation, intensive care, laboratory, and inpatient wards. It aims to support healthcare services and enhance the efficiency of critical case response with high effectiveness.

Jabal Al-Rahmah

The development of Jabal Al-Rahmah is a cultural and civilizational project aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
The second phase of Jabal Al-Rahmah's development added green spaces, shaded seating, misting poles, and upgraded infrastructure across 1.6 million square meters, ensuring safety and sustainability.

Infrastructure

Enhancing the reliability of infrastructure in the holy sites.
Significant progress has been achieved in constructing the infrastructure system, including the establishment of an internal electricity distribution network covering 1.6 million square meters. This progress also includes the replacement of water networks, enhancement of fire and cooling systems, installation of backup water tanks in Mina, Muzdalifah, and Arafat, development of the electrical infrastructure, and the creation of a sewage network and supply sources to support public facilities.

Operational Excellence

Establishing a monitoring system and activating smart holy sites.
The OCC building features an integrated monitoring and control system for the engineering systems managing water and electricity across Kidana Development and Projects' assets in the holy sites. This system is designed to proactively address potential issues before failures occur, improve service continuity metrics, activate smart holy sites, enhance energy efficiency, achieve the highest levels of cybersecurity for information, and ensure overall robustness and reliability. Furthermore, it includes delivery and ownership centers aimed at optimizing operational efficiency within the holy sites.

Environmental Sustainability

Processing slaughter waste according to systematic principles.
Kidana oversaw the operation of the engineered landfill for slaughter waste in the Faj area and managed solid waste through grinding, injection, and incineration processes. The landfill has a capacity of 25,000 tons for solid waste and 15,000 tons for liquid waste, adhering to strict standards to promote environmental sustainability in the holy sites.
